Compositor

Pete Stollery studied composition with Jonty Harrison at the University of Birmingham, where he was one of the first members of BEAST in the early ’80s. He composes music for concert hall performance, particularly acousmatic music and more recently has created work for outside the concert hall, including sound installations and internet projects.

Media Artist

Since 1984 Fernanda D’Agostino has completed twenty-five publicart commissions and fifteen solo exhibitions, many incorporating moving images in novel ways. Her work has been recognized by a Bronson Fellowship, a Flintridge Foundation Fellowship, grants from the National Endowment for the Arts and The Andy Warhol Foundation, and state fellowships in Montana and Oregon. Recently she received a Ford Family Foundation Opportunity Grant to fund her installation, The Method of Loci.Fernanda is a pioneer in the use of outdoor video projections in public art.

Pioneira no desenvolvimento de um trabalho multimídia no Brasil, envolvendo música, teatro, instalações, textos e vídeo. É a primeira entre os compositores nacionais a compor e dirigir suas óperas. Seu trabalho segue em direção à reformulação do sentido tradicional da ópera. Compôs, roteirizou e dirigiu suas 8 óperas, apresentadas em diferentes países.

Mariela Yeregui es artista electrónica y su trabajo incluye instalaciones interactivas, video instalaciones, net.art, intervenciones en espacios públicos, video-escultura e instalaciones robóticas. Su obra ha recibido prestigiosos premios -entre ellos el Primer Premio BEEP_Art (Barcelona) en 2003, el Primer Premio “Arte y Nuevas Tecnologías” (MAMBA, LIMBO, Telefónica), el Primer Premio en el Salón Nacional de Artes Visuales 2005, categoría “Nuevos Soportes”, el Tercer Premio en el Festival Transitio MX- y fue exhibida en diversos festivales y muestras alrededor del mundo.

He is Senior Lecturer in Music Technology, a researcher at MARCS Auditory Research labs and director of the Virtual, Interactive, Performance Research environment (VIPRe) http://vipre.uws.edu.au/. He is particularly fascinated with sound as an exhibitable object.
